LAS ROZAS VILLA
Interior design project in a villa in Las Rozas, Madrid. The villa was completely new. The clients had only a few pieces of new furniture, which of course, they wanted to keep and use in the space.
The project was done in the living and dining room space of the villa, which has beautiful views to the outside, with a terrace, swimming pool and vegetation.
We worked, then, around the pieces that we already had and based on the personal decorative style of the clients. We wanted to achieve a Provencal / Californian style, with a contemporary touch. The result is a space with neutral base tones, in beige, white, gray and natural materials, especially, as the protagonist, wood, which gives a cozy feeling.
Other colors are used in details, in decorative accessories are used in medium shades of blue, and other colors such as pink and green are played with in paintings and furniture. The details of interior vegetation, with plants in vases or pots, make the space blend in well with the exterior.
The use of textiles on the sofa, curtains, rugs, blankets and cushions makes the space very warm and gives a homey feeling. The curtains are kept in white so as not to detract from other parts of the living room. With this base of mostly neutral tones you get a space that is relaxing, and in which you can spend many hours without feeling overwhelmed. It is a casual space to relax, and this is just what any living room should be.
Every detail is taken care of, and each area is made into something beautiful, and that is a pleasure to see. As for the lighting, the functional lighting that the living room already has is maintained, and decorative lighting is added with warm light in some fixtures (or lamps) such as the pendant lamp over the natural fiber dining room and the lamp behind the single sofa, which makes for a very pleasant atmosphere visually in the evenings.
